UP AND RUNNING!!

Well we are well into the term and everything is picking up pace in the race to the Crunch Festival!!!! All our students are starting to explore costumes and staging techniques as well as practicing their lines! Read on for all the exciting things that have been happening around TYC.

PERFORMATHON!!

This term kicked off our new program "Performathon"!!!! This program is all about letting actors discover their creativity and helping them create amazing things. Through the course of the term they will be learning about the process of coming up with a performance and building on their performing skills!!! This program is lead by our General Manager Leigh and assisting her is Ava Bradley. The Stage experience held between the two of them is astounding!!! Our perform-athon members are very lucky!!

Roving Troupe Fun!!

Recently Roving Troupe got a chance to play with Stilts during their class. The stilt walking was definitely a test of courage and teamwork as well as trust! We spent ages trying to get used to our extra limbs, some took to it like fish in water and some, like myself, took a little longer...
We also got their hands on some fractured fairy tales and had a ball putting a performance together for our lovely leader Amelia!!! While these might seem like just hours of fun, it's all hard work leading into our next gig! 

Summer Drama Camps!!

This summer we will be running some fabulous Summer School Holiday Programs!! We have some cracker themes for the programs so make sure you book early to ensure your place!!! Our Summer School Holiday Programs run for four days at a time and give creative young minds a chance to explore their dramatic side!! Every student gets a chance to design their own costumes, create scenes and put it all together with light, cinematic and sound effects!! It's CRUNCH time!!

That's right, we are rapidly heading for our CRUNCH Festival (see what I did there? Eh? Eh?). With only so much time lift before everything kicks off it is SUPER important to start learning lines!! Getting help from friends and family is the best way to learn your lines but you can also record them and listen to them in the car!! During the Crunch Festival Season every class will have a tech run and a performance. for the tech run it is SUPER important to arrive on time so that we get as much tech time as possible! Not sure about the dates of your tech run and performance? Don't worry, you can find all the necessary information HERE!
