We all love to perform on stage and what better way to understand what we need in our performers tool-kit than a Ladder of Progression!

Your child will quickly be on their way to becoming a confident and seasoned performer as they journey through TYCs Ladder of Progression.

Developed specifically for The Young Company Theatre, the program is extremely unique and ensures that each individual child learns and develops in numerous area of theatre making in such a way that instils a positive mindset, a resilient attitude and consistent outlook on the forever changing world around them.

At TYC we believe that each child is a uniquely creative individual and are all on their own learning journeys.

Students who enrols at TYC receive their very own personal Ladder of Progression Passport. On each Passport they explore a variety of acting methods and techniques to develop their characterisation, stagecraft and use of expression. 

As they progress through their Passport and complete the nominated areas, their theatre facilitator will nominate them to step up into the next phase of our Ladder of Progression, either their Developing Performer Badge, Creative Performer Badge, Courageous Performer Badge, Collaborative Performer Badge and Innovating Performer Badge.

Upon success the performer, their family and their friends will be invited to TYC for a special evening of celebration for their dedication, commitment and creativity!
