JUTE Theatre Established in Cairns in 1992, JUTE Theatre is a significant regional theatre company driving the development, co-production, national and international touring of contemporary Australian plays from the regions.

Tropical Writers began as an informal gathering of a handful of writers in 2004. It has now grown to an active membership of 22 writers of all genres. Tropical Writers are proudly partnered by Arts Nexus Inc.

Tropical Arts are a not-for profit theatre group who operate out of Cairns Australia. We specialize in community theatre. Their aim is to make theatre opportunities available to everyone whether they are professional actors or enthusiastic community members.
